Jaap Fox advises national and international firms, non-profit organisations and directors and major shareholders on the tax aspects of (cross-border) restructuring, internal reorganisation and forms of cooperation.
He boasts a wealth of expertise in the field of business law. In addition, he focuses on tax issues in the field of turnover and transfer tax.
After studying tax law at the University of Amsterdam, Jaap gained experience in national and international tax consultancy practice at the Tax Division of the Amsterdam District Court, at KPMG Meijburg & Co and a medium-sized tax consultancy in that order.
In 2003, he founded Fox and Suurenbroek Tax Lawyers, together with Olaf Suurenbroek. The company’s name changed to Riverlane in 2020.
